I am an award winning freelance photographer in the Boston area. While I enjoy all types
of photography, portraiture has always drawn me in. My goal is to
tell the stories of my subjects through my photography. What I find
most meaningful about portraiture is forming a connection with the
person being photographed.
I create both digital and analog photography, spending many hours
per week as a film photography teaching assistant.
I am available for weddings, parties, senior and family portraits,
passport photos, head-shots, etc.
I am currently working on a photojournalistic project about the
censorship of Venezuelan media, including portraits and
interviews with recent immigrants.
I was one of 12 students in my class chosen to have work featured
at Harvard University in the final showcase of Harvard Extension
Exposing Digital Photography. I have traveled to Cuba and
Iceland for photography with National Geographic Student
Expeditions. In addition, I won six gold keys, two silver keys,
and three honorable mentions in the Scholastic Art and
Writing Awards.
